# Privacy Policy — TBH Companion

TBH Companion ("the app") is an unofficial, fan-made companion and guide for the game
*TBH: Task Bar Hero*. This policy explains what data the app handles.

## Short version
The app itself does not collect or share personal data, and all game data works offline.
The **free version shows ads via Google AdMob**, which may process device identifiers to serve
them. **Premium removes all ads** and uses Google Play Billing to process the purchase.

## What the app stores on your device
The app stores a small amount of information **only on your device** (in the app's private
storage), so your preferences and progress persist between sessions:

- Your selected **language**.
- Your **progress** (stages you mark cleared, pets you mark unlocked).
- Your saved **rune plan** and which runes you mark acquired.
- Whether you own **Premium** (cached so the app stays ad-free offline).
- A one-time flag that you dismissed the "unofficial" notice.

This data is not sent to any server by the app and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear
its data.

## Advertising (free version only)
The free version shows banner ads served by **Google AdMob**. To serve and measure ads, Google
may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device
information. This is handled by Google under its own policies:

- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Privacy → Ads).

**Premium removes all ads**, and with them this data processing by the ads SDK.

## Purchases
Premium (monthly subscription or one-time lifetime unlock) is processed entirely by
**Google Play Billing**. The app never sees your payment details; it only learns whether your
Google account owns the product. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through Google Play.

## What the app does NOT do
- No accounts, login, or personal identifiers collected by the app.
- No analytics or tracking added by the app beyond what the ads SDK requires.
- All game reference data is bundled in the app and works offline.
- No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, files, or other sensitive data.

## Sharing
The optional "Build Sharing" feature lets you create a text code and share it via Android's
standard share sheet (e.g. to a messaging app). The app only generates the code; what you do with
it is handled by the app you choose to share to. The code contains only your rune-plan numbers — no
personal data.

## Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from children. Ads are configured through Google AdMob,
which applies Google Play's family policies.

## Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the "last updated" date
revised.
